Oven BBQ Boneless Ribs

Well, this is the magnificent recipe I was talking to you about in my last post. I found a great sale on boneless ribs at the supermarket and since everyone in my family loves ribs I had to buy them! I wanted that delicious BBQ sauce flavor, and boy did I nail it. My husband and my brother had seconds, then thirds. My infant son kept asking for more too, everybody was salivating. This recipe is a sure hit, I'm sure you'll love it!  Until the next one!

Ingredients:

3.5 pounds of boneless, country style ribs
Fresh ground salt (to taste)
Fresh ground pepper (to taste)
1 Large white onion
BBQ Sauce Recipe (link here)

Procedure:

Unwrap the boneless ribs

Spread two Tablespoons of olive oil on a large baking dish.

Put the ribs on the olive oil.

Add  salt and black ground pepper to taste.

Cut the onion.

Place the onions on top of the ribs.

Bake the ribs at 450 degrees for 30 minutes.
At this point you can start making the BBQ Sauce.

Get the ribs out of the oven and pour half of the sauce over the ribs.
Reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 60 minutes.
It's important to baste the meat every 15 minutes.

Once they are done, enjoy!
I served mine with garlic mashed potatoes and an arugula/spinach salad.

BBQ Sauce (Boneless Ribs)

I'd bought some country-style boneless ribs, but didn't know what to do with them. I found a recipe at tablespoon.com but I didn't have all of the ingredients at home so I had to modify it a little bit. After sampling my creation I came to the conclusion that this sauce is ideal for slow cooking pork at low heat. This sauce is a thin sauce so don't expect it to thicken.

The end result was delicious! However rather than simply topping the meat with the sauce after cooking it (as in the original recipe),  I chose to make a new BBQ sauce utilizing the sauce that was meant to top the meat as a base for the new BBQ sauce. I served the boneless ribs with some garlic mashed potatoes and an arugula/spinach salad. (As soon as I try it with other cuts of pork or some other meat I will add them to the post.) I hope you guys enjoy this recipe. My next post will be the boneless ribs recipe.

Until the next one!

In a medium saucepan add the ketchup.

Add the worcestershire sauce.

Add the chili powder.

Add the salt.

Add the hot sauce.

Mix it well.

Put the saucepan in the stovetop.

Once it reaches the boil let it rest.

No Bake Creamy Nutella Pie

Yesterday was my birthday! Usually this means spending an hour or so in the kitchen making my birthday cake. However this year I wanted to make something different from the traditional birthday cake, and being a Nutella lover I found this recipe on Pinterest that belongs to The Recipe Critic. In the original recipe they made the crust from scratch and they used 16 oz of cream cheese. However I decided not make the crust from scratch because this is a dessert that I wanted to have ready to go quickly. I also wanted to intensify the Nutella flavor so I decided to only use 8 oz of cream cheese. This version makes for a very quick and tasty preparation. Because I used less cream cheese the Nutella flavor was intensified, so it tasted awesome! This is a very simple and easy recipe. Hope you guys enjoy it. Until the next one!

Note: For this post I've included all the steps at the beginning of the recipe as well as under each picture. This is a trial to see if this helps make it easier for you guys to follow the recipe, so please let me know in the comments if you'd like this to become a regular thing.

Ingredients:

(1) 8 oz cream cheese package
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
2/3 cup Nutella
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
8 oz Cool Whip

Procedure:

Beat the cream cheese and confectioners sugar in a stand mixer on medium speed.
Add the Nutella and cocoa powder.
Fold in the cool whip.
Pour this filling mixture onto the crust and spread evenly with a plastic spatula.
Place the pie into the refrigerator and allow it to set for 2-3 hours.
Slice and serve with Nutella and whipped cream.

Put the cream cheese in your mixing bowl.

Add the confectioners sugar.

Mix at medium high speed.

Once mixed add the Nutella.

Add the cocoa powder

Mix well until combined and smooth.

Add a little bit of the cool whip. And mix well with the spatula.

Add the rest of the cool whip and mix it slowly.

It's gonna be difficult at first, but keep on it.

After 3 to 5 minutes you will be in an amazing, fluffy Nutella heaven!

Have your crust ready.

Add the Nutella filling. Smooth it with a baker's spatula.

Form a border with the remaining cool whip. I used a star tip with a piping bag.

Add some chocolate syrup to decorate.

Start taking photos... of this amazing and delicious and luscious Nutella pie!

Keep adding syrup as desired! And keep taking photos!
There needs to be proof that you made this amazing dessert before it disappears!

Then cut a piece and start eating! It's fluffy and yummy!
Enjoy!!
